KLA-Tencor CEO and President Rick Wallace pointed out that the semiconductor industry began in the United States after reviewing the evolution of the global semiconductor industry in the past half century. Silicon Valley, for the first time, moved to Japan and moved to Korea and Taiwan for the second time. Now the global semiconductor industry has shifted its focus to China.
