Panasonic Dalian Car Battery Factory Started Mass Production | Covered North American and Chinese Markets

March 13th, Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. Automotive Electronic and Electromechanical Systems Co., Ltd. began production production of a vehicle-mounted square lithium-ion battery factory in Dalian, China, and held a delivery ceremony today.

Dalian Lithium Ion Battery Factory, a service provider, was used as Panasonic’s first production base lithium ion battery for vehicles in China.

It is reported that the plant currently employs approximately 500 people and has begun to supply high-power, high-capacity, and high-security square-shaped batteries to the North American market and the Chinese market among the on-vehicle lithium-ion batteries that are continuously expanding in market demand.
