PLASSON and WITTMANN Group
Previously PLASSON used other manufacturing automation systems. In 2002, it purchased the first WITTMANN robot.
After the first WITTMANN robot was put into use in our factory, we immediately felt that the WITTMANN robot was built exclusively for PLASSON. It has a variety of advanced features and it perfectly fits our needs. These robots are equipped with excellent performance. The CNC controls the function and provides a very easy-to-use teaching frame and training plan. Tamira Bacharach, maintenance manager at PLASSON, says: 'Since we have introduced the latest features for R8 controllers (such as Smart Removal and Eco Vac functions), The advantages of these robots have become even more pronounced. In short: The mighty manipulators easily meet all our needs.'
Due to its extreme satisfaction with WITTMANN's first robot, PLASSON made the decision to use WITTMANN as its standard supplier whenever the injection molding process required an automated solution.
