The UN Global Compact is a non-compulsory initiative proposed by the UN that requires companies to comply with, support, and implement a set of ten basic principles in human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption within their respective spheres of influence. In 2000, Kofi Annan, who was then Secretary-General of the United Nations, formally proposed that about 10,000 companies and organizations from civil society, politics and science in more than 160 countries joined the plan, promising to work together through this effort. Vision becomes reality.

Our customers, partners and employees can be confident that Interroll's actions always adhere to the principles of fairness, environmental protection and economy,' Executive Director Interroll Group Officer Paul Zumbühl explained.

In addition to the commitment to adhere to the universal principles of the UN Global Compact, Interroll has always been committed to the implementation of the company's internal compliance management system specific specifications. This includes the Internor Group's 'behavior specification', 'supplier code of conduct' and 'anti-corruption policy' .

In order to ensure the implementation of common principles and group regulations, relevant managers were trained in this field in the 2017 reporting year. The training started from German companies and plans to complete the training of companies in China, the United States, Denmark and France in 2018.

'Resolutely responding to the Global Compact not only improves Interroll Group's compliance, prevents possible negative impacts, but also enhances our overall competitiveness,' added Daniel Bättig, Interno Group's chief financial officer and compliance representative.
