According to foreign media reports, Samsung announced that its subsidiary has wholly acquired an artificial intelligence search engine company, Kngine.
Kngine is an artificial intelligence company dedicated to the development of deep learning theories to better meet the needs of users. Samsung had invested in Kngine together with Vodafone as early as 2014. Now it is a step further and has completed Acquisition of shares.
This move is seen as one of Samsung's recent new layouts for Bixby. Prior to that, Samsung also acquired and invested in companies in a number of AI-related fields, including Fluenty and Reactor Labs, which specialize in AI communication solutions. At the same time, Samsung also dug into the world-class AI expert Larry Heck last year. He was responsible for the development of Google Assistan and Microsoft Cortana.
Judging from this information, Samsung’s investment in AI is huge, and we don’t know what Bixby 2.0 will bring us any surprises.
