Did you pay attention to these when you bought the monitor? Then you may be pitted.

Due to the work of the author, many of my friends began to ask me questions about the monitor, such as how to select the right monitor, what parameters to look for when buying the monitor, and so on.

So today, the author has chosen several of the monitor's most important parameters to choose the most important point (the size is not mentioned much today, after all, is based on personal preferences), and I hope to help you choose the monitor.

HD has nothing to do with color

Many monitors highlight the high-definition screen at the time of promotion. Many white students think that HD is a clear screen with good color. In fact, this understanding is wrong. The HD here represents the resolution.

The so-called high-definition screen mostly refers to more than 720P (1280 x 720) resolution, Full HD refers to our common 1080P (1920 × 1080), 2K screen resolution to reach 2560 × 1440, and 4K resolution will have Reached 3840×2160, so the HD here refers only to resolution, which has nothing to do with color.

With respect to color, many products can cover much of the sRGB color gamut for external publicity. At present, most displays can cover more than 90% of the sRGB color gamut. Therefore, many products cannot be classified in this category.

There is actually another standard that can really reflect the degree of display color difference: NTSC color gamut, sRGB color gamut is actually only equivalent to 72% of NTSC color gamut, so pay more attention when you buy monitors to avoid being 忽悠.

Buy fog on the screen does not buy a mirror

The author recommended a matte screen between the matte screen and the mirror screen. The reason is actually very simple to prevent reflection.

The reflective effect of the mirror screen will bring a lot of influence. Using it for a long time will make the eyes uncomfortable, and it will make the eyes feel tired. At the same time, when the screen is displayed, it is very agreeable to see the surrounding environment and affect the display effect of the monitor screen.

So try not to buy a mirror screen when choosing a monitor.

Gameplay and pictures can't have both

Due to the enthusiasm of the gaming market, e-sports monitors have received a lot of attention. Gamers are pursuing more of the continuity of the picture and faster response time. In order to achieve this effect, they must be made on the panel selection. This choice also affects the color of the screen.

If you want to buy an e-sport monitor, you have to pay attention to the refresh rate. At present, ordinary monitors are 59/60Hz. For gamers, the monitor currently has 144Hz, 165Hz and higher 240Hz. On this basis, there are AMD's. FreeSync technology and NVIDIA's G-Sync technology to ensure that the picture is smooth and tear-free.

For player users, the 59/60Hz refresh rate of a normal monitor is certainly not enough. Selecting a monitor with a high refresh rate naturally increases the price.

If the product with FreeSync technology is still good, the price is relatively small, because this technology is free and open, if you have G-Sync technology, the price will increase a lot, because NVIDIA's technology is Need hardware embedding.

The advantage of these two technologies is that it can match the video card to achieve a 1:1 refresh rate, which can solve the problem of screen tearing.

Write to the end:

The above points are the most common and important points in the author's selection of displays. The merchants love to play games with consumers most often are word games, so as long as consumers identify the positioning, they have a certain understanding of some basic parameters. , will be able to find a suitable monitor.
