HTC released the flagship phone HTC U11 in May last year and launched the HTC U11+ in November. In the past few weeks, rumours about the new HTC U12 flagship of HTC2018 have been increasing day after day. Twitter broke the news @LlabTooFeR and even disclosed U12 a few days ago. From the HTC Source disclosure, part of the appearance design of HTC U12 is somewhat similar to U11 and U11+, but its unique Liquid Surface design language will add some new features. It is reported that HTC U12 will use a metal middle frame, covered by curved glass before and after, Like the U11. The fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the camera and is equipped with dual cameras, similar to the U11+.
A more specific design is still a secret, but HTC Source stated that HTC has developed a new matte color scheme that is unique to a glass body phone, but there are precedents for this design, such as Sony’s release in 2015. Xperia Z5 series.
