Samsung executives: optimistic about the cover sales of S9 beyond S8

DJ Koh, chief executive of Samsung's mobile division, said Samsung Galaxy S9 is expected to surpass the sales of the Galaxy S8. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has sold about 37 million units since it was released in April 2017.

DJ Koh said: 'The Galaxy S9 will be available earlier this year, sooner than the Galaxy S8, and we plan to launch various marketing strategies to stimulate demand, and I believe the overall unit sales figures will be better.'

Of course, some people think that the Galaxy S9 is not as revolutionary as the release of the Galaxy S8, but some even consider it unnecessary to upgrade from Galaxy S7 to S8 even after the release of the S8. The Galaxy S9 is getting a similar response, especially S9 S8 does not look much different.

However, IT House believes that the inherent upgrade S9 is still more significant, in addition to the new processor, the new variable aperture camera is also very much looking forward to, and repositioning of fingerprints should also attract some consumers.
