HomePod starter sales second only to Echo Dot is expected to be on sale 7 million units this year

Apple's HomePod was officially on sale on February 9, and analysts have released its initial sales data. Data show that HomePod is significantly higher than other smart speakers after its initial public offering, including Sonos One and Google Home Max in the United States.

The data is shared by the NPD Group and collected using NPD's Checkout service, which tracks and analyzes consumer purchases by multiple offline retailers.
