
According to foreign media CNBC reports, Alibaba is filming a film about human and robot movies, given the e-commerce giant's investment in artificial intelligence research, the move is not surprising.
'From assembling handsets to repairing cars and then to surgery, robots provide good service and great convenience to mankind, but there's one question: what happens when robots develop their own personality?' Alibaba High Jenny W. Hsu, director of the company's news site Alizila, wrote on Wednesday.
It is understood that the film, called "Steel Soldiers," tells the story of a disciplined Special Forces officer who trained robotic warriors to make them elite units. The film will be produced by Ali Pictures and STX Entertainment of the United States and will be produced by Robert Zemeckis, Back to the Future and Forrest Gump, Director.
