The reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that China's communications equipment industry maintained its rapid growth in production and exports last year with an annual output of 1.9 billion mobile phones and an increase of 13.9% in export delivery value over the previous year.
Electronic information manufacturing industry, which combines advanced technology and process technology, has been the leading manufacturer in manufacturing industry. In the whole year of last year, China's electronic information manufacturing industry witnessed a rapid growth. The growth rate of production and investment maintained a leading position in all industries and the export situation was obviously improved. The quality of electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 13.8% over the previous year, faster than the growth rate of all industries above designated size by 7.2%.
Among them, smart phones accounted for 74.3% of the total mobile phone production, micro-computer equipment output increased 6.8% over the previous year, smart TV and other products is a substantial increase in production.
Zhang Feng, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology believes that the transformation of the electronic information manufacturing industry lies in grasping the three major breakthroughs in technology, quality and brand, and the next step will be to tackle key core common core technologies and increase the capacity for collective innovation and supporting application.
