Musk: Tesla will begin investing in Model Y crossovers by the end of 2018

According to CNBC, the U.S. financial website, on Wednesday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said during a conference call Wednesday that the company will launch its planned model Y from the third or fourth quarter of 2018 Cross-border vehicles for capital investment.

Tesla wanted to design such a crossover to eliminate some of the headaches that the company needs to address when making its predecessor.

Musk said he may be exchanging details of the Model Y crossover at another earnings call later in the year, Tesla Wednesday on the fourth quarter of 2017 and full year earnings.

Model Y will be Tesla's first crossover, which will grow faster in the U.S. passenger car market than any other model Tesla currently produces a sports utility vehicle (SUV) Model X and two other sedans.
