Recently, Siemens GAMESA announced that it received another 160 MW EPC contract from India, which is expected to install a 100 MW solar project for an Indian utility company, which also received a 60 Million IPP from India W solar project.
The public utility project is located in Tamil Nadu and the IPP project is located in Karnataka.
These projects are scheduled to go into operation in March 2018.
India's chairman and managing director, Gomes India, said: "India is one of the most promising markets for renewable energy in the past three years and the solar market in China is growing rapidly and we expect the solar energy market in India to gain momentum.
