According to the "China Pharmaceutical Industry Development Prospect and Investment Opportunity Analysis Report 2018-2023" released by China Academy of Industrial Research, the import of pharmaceutical products in China was 13,000 tons in January 2018, an increase of 25.9% over the same period of previous year. The import volume of Chinese medicine in each month all maintained a positive growth. According to the data forecast of the China Academy of Business Research, it is estimated that by 2018, the import volume of Chinese medicine will remain at about 13,000 tons.
In terms of the import amount of pharmaceutical products, the import value of Chinese pharmaceutical products in January was 2,220.5 million U.S. dollars, up 16.3% over the same period of last year.
