SOLIDWORKS introduced new software and services at SWW18

Much has happened to SOLIDWORKS World this week. Announced partnership with Rize and Nano Dimension; Hewlett-Packard introduces new color 3D printing system; Stratasys announces a collaboration centered on 3D printed prosthetics. Other SOLIDWORKS collaborations Partners involved 3D Systems and Desktop Metal, but basically all the announcements about the cooperation between SOLIDWORKS and other companies are related to SOLIDWORKS itself - after all the theme for this conference is SOLIDWORKS World.

On the first day of the conference, SOLIDWORKS and its parent company Dassault Systèmes announced five new products:
3DEXPERIENCE is already a collaboration platform, but Dassault Systèmes adds some new social collaboration services designed to provide a brainstorming of social media style in a collaborative and secure environment designed to get team members involved in projects Early stages of chaos, because of the various ideas that emerged at the time, and with those tools, people working on the project could work together in an organized environment to fully accomplish the early planning stages.

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) was developed as a system to make product development easier, but it is a great learning in itself. According to SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE PLM Services were created to 'uncover' PLM. It Designed to shorten everything from concept to finished product to deliver cloud-based design, engineering and business process services, the solution starts with a small amount of work, an affordable system regardless of the company's size, You do not need to invest or host on your own hardware infrastructure. You can click here to learn more about SOLIDWORKS 3DEXPERIENCE PLM Services.
SOLIDWORKS Product Designer is a new product design suite natively developed on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform that offers a full range of product design features including parts, assembly, sheet metal, motion simulation, and drawings.
SOLIDWORKS xDesign is also built on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a modeling application that runs on any browser and on any device, allowing users to author, edit and collaborate while building CAD models without the need for powerful workstations. Its data model is shared with other applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for instant access without installation It's easy to use, secure and scalable, with everything stored and managed in the cloud About 20 people are currently using xDesign , But by the end of 2018, the company's goal is to increase this number to 7000.
