February 2, 2018, AAEON, a leading developer of network solutions, released a desktop network security appliance, the FWS-2360.
The FWS-2360 adds Intel QuickAssist technology over the previous FWS-2273, improving the performance of a single application, such as secure encryption or financial computing, while reducing power consumption.
The FWS-2360 is equipped with a pair of fiber / copper SFP GbE network ports, four RJ45 Ethernet ports, a 2.5 "SATA hard drive bay, and two USB 3.0 and 2 mini PCIe card slots for Wi-Fi / 4G LTE wireless network communications and easy NAS features support.
The FWS-2360 features the Intel Atom processor C3000 series with 32GB of memory expansion and features bypass mode, watchdog timer, TPM encryption module, GPIO port, fast encryption / compression of network data, and single fan low noise cooling system .
Also included is a 1U rack adapter that quickly installs into a server enclosure for increased environmental flexibility.
