FedEx launches FedEx Forward Depots, a company focused on 3D printing

FedEx, the delivery and delivery giant, said recently that it will readjust its specialist logistics and e-commerce solutions by March 1, 2018. It is unclear what the reorganization means for FedEx's 3D printing service, though the announcement says it will expand its adoption of the technology. In recent years, logistics and couriers such as UPS and DHL have become more interested in 3D printing technology Especially in the case of UPS, 3D printing has become particularly important as the company aims to provide a complete network for on-demand 3D printed components and products.
So far, FedEx has not made any significant announcements about the technology, but it has partnered with the University of Memphis to create specialized 3D printing replacement parts for its drone courier.
