Leona Nylon 66 filament has excellent toughness, good heat resistance, long durability, light weight and is widely used in industrial applications, especially in the automotive industry. The airbags and tire cords meet the quality requirements.
Asahi Kasei identified the automotive market as a key expansion in the materials segment including the textile and fiber industries, according to the mid-term management initiative of 2018.
