Recently, the "methanol fuel cell series" of a project headed by Sun Gongquan, a researcher at the Alcohol Fuel Cell and Composite Electric Energy Research Center of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, passed the acceptance test.
The project was approved in December 2012 and the DMFC-25-R-12, DMFC-50-U and DMFC-200-U direct methanol fuel cell products developed in December 2014 were verified by the same type. Menstrual identification test passed the appraisal and examination on December 14, 2017. The technology of direct methanol fuel cell power system technology, detection technology, low temperature environment adaptability, design model optimization and reliability technology passed the technical appraisal.The project completed the technical platform Construction, formed a 25W-500W direct methanol fuel cell research and development capabilities to meet the direct methanol fuel cell product development and mass production requirements.
The direct methanol fuel cell product developed by this project is the first fuel cell product in China that has passed the qualification of stereotypes and can be widely used as a portable mobile power source in vehicles and communications.
