On January 11, 2018, NetWeaver announced the launch of a high-performance TVS-x73e series of NAS products that provide NAS and iSCSI-SAN unified storage solutions.
TVS-x73e series contains a total of three products TVS-473e, TVS-673e, TVS-873e, the main difference between the three products is the number of supported disks. TVS-473e supports up to four 2.5 / 3.5-inch SSD / The TVS-673e supports up to six 2.5 / 3.5-inch SSDs / HDDs; the TVS-873e supports up to eight 2.5 / 3.5-inch SSDs / HDDs.
The three products are based on the AMD RX-421BD quad-core APU, with a default clock speed of 2.1GHz and a Turbo frequency of 3.4GHz. It has four SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB of DDR4-2133MHz memory. It also supports two M .2 SSD Expansion (as a cache to improve NAS storage speed), with four Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to 1139 MB / s with 10Gb expansion NIC installed.
It also supports VMware, Citrix, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Windows Server 2012 R2 environments with native hosting of multiple virtual machines including Windows, Linux, UNIX and Android, and containers (LXC and Docker).
TVS-x73e integrated storage solutions support file backup, sharing, centralized management, and support for block-based snapshots, keep track of system status at any time.
Currently three products have been released, the price is still not clear.
