On January 11, 2018, Mushkin released an external SSD called CarbonEXT at CES 2018.
The external interface of CarbonEXT external SSD is USB3.1 and the ASM1153E chip of ASMedia is used as the data transfer chip of USB3.1 Gen 1 and SSD, while the internal SSD master adopts Hui Rong's SM2258XT chip.
