SANTA CLARA, Calif. - January 9, 2018 - OmniVision Technologies, a leading developer of digital image solutions, today announced the OV01A, a high performance, ultra-thin, Image Sensor Product Family The OV01A is based on the 1.12 micron OmniVision® PureCel® Plus stacking architecture with a very small footprint for confined space applications such as narrow bezel notebooks and handheld mobile devices.
Powered by OmniVision's state-of-the-art PureCel Plus technology for the best performance at a 1.12-micron pixel size, the OV01A is an HD sensor with high-quality graphics and extremely small dimensions for its customers. In addition, the sensor outputs 720p resolution 60 frames per second.
