The first national standard mobile power officially released: July 1, 2018 implementation

The National Standards Commission released Notice No. 32 of China National Standards in 2017, which published 1090 national standards, four national standards revision lists and 51 national standards foreign language versions, of which the first mobile power supply (Charging Po) National Standard GB / T 35590-2017 "Information Technology Portable Power Equipment Universal Specification for Portable Devices" was officially released, the standard will be July 1, 2018 formally implemented.

GB / T 35590 by the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee (Secretariat of China Electronics Standardization Institute, Cessie) centralized management, joint lithium-ion battery industry with the production of a number of units jointly developed .Sai Xi He Penlin, Wang Xiaodong, Guo Pei , Chen Hai, Gao Jian, Wang Xin and many other experts as the main drafters of this standard led or participated in the formulation of the standard.

GB / T 35590 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of portable power supplies for portable digital equipment, especially for the rated capacity, rated energy, environmental adaptability, safety For follow-up product design and development, supervision and spot checks as well as the identification of transport to provide a more accurate technical basis.

In accordance with the requirements of the standardization law, in order to harmonize with the requirements of the mandatory national standards, the relevant safety requirements in the mobile power standard GB / T 35590 respectively refer to the two other mandatory national standards that are subject to the administration and drafting of the Cexi respectively- GB 31241-2014 "lithium-ion batteries and battery packs for portable electronic products safety requirements" and GB 4943.1-2011 "Information technology equipment safety Part 1: General requirements." As a core component, portable mobile power supply lithium-ion batteries need to comply with GB 31241-2014 standards, while the overall safety of mobile power needs in line with GB 4943.1 or its replacement standard (alternative standard IEC 62368-1 GB conversion work in progress).

As early as in 2015, He Penglin, the deputy director of Cessal Security Room, proposed the mobile power security assessment system as above and has carried out extensive implementation in the voluntary certification for mobile power security conducted by certification bodies. The official release of this national standard for mobile power, Further clarify the safety requirements of such products, product stereotypes, quality supervision will be more evidence-based.
