Plastic film by advanced battery production technology for industrial 4.0

As one of the leading companies in slitting and rewinding fields, Gobel-Elmas introduced the new INTERSLIT slitter-winder range for specialty industrial products such as capacitor films, battery separators or thick films for industrial or optical applications .

These new main slitting machines are available in basic or advanced technology and automation technology with a processing width up to 7,000 mm and a film thickness of 0.5-500 μm INTERSLIT is based on MONOSLIT on the one hand and XTRASLIT 2. This winding station is suitable for applications weighing up to 5,000 kg, opening diameter up to 1,550 mm and rewinding up to 1,300 mm diameter. Thanks to its super-light tensioning roller, it is guaranteed to be constant even at high speeds As a result, the maximum speed of 1,200 m / min is guaranteed.

The company has also developed INTERSLIT BSF for battery separators and wet-process BOPE battery separators, both of which are ultra-sensitive materials with machinable widths of up to 6,000 mm and a neat, all-in-one machine design.

The Gobel-Elmas slitter winder uses digital AC drive technology for efficient energy recovery, helping to reduce operating costs and increase energy savings.

These machines have basic models as well as special upgrade models such as camera systems that can be custom-made for tool changers or for monitoring slitting devices.

Evolution for Industry 4.0

The German government proposed the term 'Industry 4.0', which aims to combine industrial production with modern information and communication technologies, and Kampf Schneid- und Wickeltechnik organized for the first time on November 16 Converting 4.0 Web Conferencing.

The Converting 4.0 network was created to develop solutions for the future of digital technology and in the spring of 2017, Concord demonstrated the new product 'the @ vanced' as a basis for network planning of the entire value chain as a partner.

The software not only increases the efficiency of slitting and rewinding technologies but also increases the efficiency of the entire production process by networking products and components on the platform and evaluating the data as a whole to trigger appropriate optimization measures.

During the conference, in addition to Professor Christin Brecher, Deputy Director of IPT at Fraunhofer Institute of Production Technology, who delivered a speech on 'Networking, Adaptive Production - Now and the Future', the agenda also included the following topics: 'Enter the Digital Future', 'Medium Company Transformation ',' Converting 4.0 - Connection - Innovation - Network 'and' Agil - Cooperation - Organization '.
