Recently, the High-tech Division of Ministry of Science and Technology organized the acceptance meeting for the key technology research on the reliability and durability of the backup power system of fuel cell in the "12th Five-Year Plan" National 863 Program in Beijing. The project was jointly organized by Suzhou Vorsa Energy Technology Co., Company commitment, China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd. and many other units to complete.
Through the implementation of the project, the redundant design, failure prediction and diagnosis, and hydrogen safety reliability of the fuel cell backup power system were carried out. The reliability and durability evaluation methods of the backup power system of the fuel cell were established, and the direct current fuel Battery backup power system prototype reliability and durability test. Optimized membrane electrode preparation process, the stack, hydrogen supply and hydrothermal management system design and test evaluation, developed for hot-swappable 5kW (-48V) DC fuel cell backup power prototype, a single continuous operation capacity of 36h, start and stop 506 times, the cumulative operation of 2100 hours; carried out the fuel cell laminate sealing material design and preparation, bipolar plate structure design and preparation, end plate molding process and Self-humidifying membrane electrode research; self-humidification battery stack engineering design, power management module and system design and production of intelligent control module, DC / DC and DC / AC inverter module development, system control hardware and software design; developed 3.5kW AC fuel cell backup power integrated power generation system prototype, start and stop 600 times, a total of 3100 hours of operation.
Through further research on the reliability and durability of the backup power system of fuel cell, at the same time, the technical level of the backup 5-kW (-48V) DC backup battery has reached the international advanced level under the support of the research results of this project. Battery backup power supply system in the communications industry provides the core technical support.
The expert group agreed that the project completed the research content stipulated in the project notification and basically reached the assessment index and agreed that the project passed the inspection.
