Geely Holding London electric taxi to Norway next year

Geely's controlling London electric car company will export electric taxis to Norway in 2018, which is the second overseas market to expand after Amsterdam.

It is reported that the London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) plans to develop Amsterdam into the first overseas market in early 2017 with 225 electric taxis serving elderly and handicapped people. LEVC plans to increase production to reach overseas sales by 2020 5000. LEVC's operating conditions have improved since its acquisition by Geely in 2015. In March 2017, LEVC opened a new factory in central England.

Norway has a liberal tax rebate policy that has attracted a large number of electric car manufacturers flocked to, so Norway has become the world's highest holdings of electric vehicles in the country.

Autoindustri, a Oslo-based automaker, will receive these electric cabs in the first quarter of 2018. Meanwhile, LEVC said the Norwegian electric car market is huge, hoping to capture the market through a partnership with Autoindustri.
