According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Professor Zhang Jiatao of Beijing Institute of Technology and Professor Sergio Brovelli of Bicocca University in Milan (co-author) recently published the latest research online in Nature Nanotechnology, an international magazine of nanotechnology. Results 'Excitonic Pathway to Photoinduced Magnetism in Colloidal Nanocrystals with Nonmagnetic Dopants'.
The results show that the excitation process induced by the non-magnetic impurity doping can obtain optically switchable magnetic nano-semiconductor materials, and can effectively control its optical, electrical and magnetic properties and promote its application in photoelectric spin-on devices.
