South Korean giant LG Electronics announced today a new IPS liquid crystal display panel, the 'Nano IPS', with better color display capabilities and future popularity in LG's high-end displays.
Nano IPS technology uses new nanoparticles on the screen's LED backlight module to absorb excess light and improve the intensity, purity, and screen color accuracy of the displayed light output, ultimately improving not only color reproduction but also contrast.
However, LG did not give any specific technical indicators, just said DisplayHDR 600 can meet the standard requirements , Which is to support HDR10, brightness up to 600nit.
The first panel of this new type of display model is'32UK950', 32 inch, Resolution of 4K 3840 × 2160, can display 1.07 billion colors, color gamut coverage 98% DCI-P3, not only higher than the consumer flagship monitor 32UD99-W 95%, even higher than the professional monitor 31MU97-B 97%, also supports 3D LUT tune color.
Input and output provided A Thunderbolt 3 interface and supports daisy chain , A single interface can be connected to two 4K / 60Hz display, in addition there should be DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0a interface.
