LG Announces New NanoIPS LCD Panel: Gamut Ultra-Professional Display

South Korean giant LG Electronics announced today a new IPS liquid crystal display panel, the 'Nano IPS', with better color display capabilities and future popularity in LG's high-end displays.

Nano IPS technology uses new nanoparticles on the screen's LED backlight module to absorb excess light and improve the intensity, purity, and screen color accuracy of the displayed light output, ultimately improving not only color reproduction but also contrast.

However, LG did not give any specific technical indicators, but said that it can meet the DisplayHDR 600 standard requirements, which is to support HDR10, brightness up to 600nit.
