STMicroelectronics new multi-in-one software tool allows STM32 users to write code more convenient

Set micro-messengers, STMicroelectronics STM32CubeProgrammer software tools, in a unified multi-platform user-configurable environment, to provide users with STM32 microcontroller code burning and firmware upgrade capabilities.

The STM32CubeProgrammer supports Windows®, Linux and MacOS® operating systems and can write code to the STM32 Microcontroller internal flash memory / RAM or external memory using a variety of file formats, including memory-wide or sector-erase option bytes. Users can also generate encrypted files needed for program security programming (firmware update installation) functionality, verify the authenticity of software installed on the production line, and protect intellectual property.

With this common tool, the user can write STM32 microcontrollers using either on-chip SWD or JTAG debug port or program-boot loader port such as UART and USB.Therefore, STM32CubeProgrammer is the STM STMicroelectronics is also going to expand the STM32CubeProgrammer's programming channel to the microcontroller's I2C and CAN ports, all of which are integrated into the STM32Cube ecosystem of software tools such as Programmer, DFUse Device Firmware Update, Flash Loader and ST-Link, respectively.

In addition, STM32CubeProgrammer enables developers to customize and configure microcontroller functions using a graphical user interface (GUI) or a command-line interface (CLI) that can be used alone or integrated into other applications. Program burning operations can be done manually or using scripts.
