According to Fierce Wireless, 3GPP today officially signed the first version of the 5G NSA (Non-Standalone) standard in Lisbon, capital of Portugal.

This means that the hardware vendor's device development work can begin now.

According to the 3GPP plan, the 5G standard is divided into two types: NSA and Standalone Independent Network (SA) networking, in which the 5G NSA network is a transitional solution.
