Recently, Luoyang Technology Research and Development Center of Refining and Chemical Engineering Group completed the industrial demonstration test of the new type of insulation technology on the medium-pressure steam pipe beside the petrochemical plant of Wuhan Petrochemical Company with the newly developed five kinds of pipe insulation structure.The test results show that: Wuhan Petrochemical Steam Pipeline heat dissipation loss from the original 307.1w / m2 down to 112.8 w / m2, a drop of up to 63.3%, all the insulation structure to achieve high standards of heat dissipation, the cost recovery period of only about 1 year, obvious technical and economic advantages, with a vast market expectation.
