In November 2017, consumer prices rose 1.7% YoY

In November 2017, consumer prices in the country rose 1.7% YoY, of which cities rose 1.8% and rural areas rose 1.5%; food prices fell 1.1%; non-food prices rose 2.5%; consumer prices rose 0.9% and service prices rose 3.1% From January to November, the national consumer price index rose 1.5% over the same period of last year.

In November, consumer prices in the entire country were unchanged on a month-on-month basis, with urban and rural areas remaining flat; food prices fell 0.5% while non-food prices rose 0.1%; consumer prices rose 0.1% and service prices dropped 0.1%.

I. Year-on-year price changes of various goods and services

In November, the prices of food, tobacco and alcohol dropped by 0.2% year-on-year, affecting a decrease of about 0.05 percentage points in the CPI, in which the price of fresh vegetables dropped by 9.5%, affecting the CPI by about 0.25%; the price of livestock meat by 4.8% and the CPI falling by 0.23 (Pork prices fell 9.0%, affecting the CPI down about 0.25 percentage points); egg prices rose 5.6%, affecting the CPI rose about 0.03 percentage points; fresh fruit prices rose 3.7%, affecting the CPI rose about 0.06 percentage points; aquatic products prices 3.2%, affecting the CPI rose about 0.06 percentage points; food prices rose 1.5%, affecting the CPI up about 0.03 percentage points.

Prices of other health care, housing, education, culture and entertainment rose by 7.0%, 2.8% and 2.0% respectively, while prices of other supplies and services, daily necessities and services rose by 1.7% and 1.5%, transportation and communication, clothing prices rose by 1.3% and 1.2%.

Second, the price of various goods and services chain changes

In November, the prices of food, tobacco and alcohol dropped 0.3% MoM, affecting a decrease of about 0.09 percentage points in the CPI, in which the price of fresh vegetables dropped by 4.8%, affecting a decrease of about 0.12% in the CPI; the price of aquatic products dropped by 1.3% and the CPI decreased by about 0.02% Percentage points; livestock meat prices fell 0.3%, affecting the CPI decreased about 0.01 percentage points (pork prices fell 0.8%, affecting the CPI down about 0.02 percentage points); fresh fruit prices rose 2.1%, affecting the CPI rose about 0.03 percentage points; 1.8%, affecting the CPI up about 0.01 percentage points.

In November, prices of clothing, transportation and communications increased by 0.5%, residential and medical services prices rose 0.2% and daily necessities and service prices rose 0.1% respectively; education and culture Entertainment prices fell 0.5%; other supplies and services prices were flat.

1, the indicator explained

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is a measure of the relative value of residents' prices of consumer goods and services over time, and reflects changes in the prices of consumer goods and services purchased by residents.

2, the statistical range

The National Consumer Price Index (CPI) covers eight major categories of food and drink, clothing, housing, household products and services, transportation and communications, education and entertainment, healthcare, other supplies and services nationwide for urban and rural residents, 262 A basic classification of goods and services prices.

3, the survey method

According to the principles of "people, fixed-point and fixed-time", the original price was collected directly from the survey network by sampling by sampling method.
