With a maximum of 18 cores, the Vega display architecture iMac Pro is likely to be released before the end of this year

Apple's new iMac Pro, unveiled at WWDC 2017 this year, may not be out until December, if not unexpected.

IMac Pro, which was unveiled this year at WWDC 2017, is designed primarily for virtual reality, advanced learning and advanced imaging applications. The exterior of the iMac Pro features a black exterior rather than an iMac bright silver finish, and even Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse and other accessories are also used black design.

Hardware, iMac Pro with Intel Xeon processor series, up to 18 core specification version, and with AMD Vega display architecture Radeon Pro display adapter is expected to be up to iMac Pro up to 22 TFLOPS half-precision computing performance, and Single-precision operation can also be up to 11 TFLOPS.

Other specifications include a 27-inch screen with 5K resolution, up to 128GB of memory with auto-correction specifications and data transfer capacity up to 3GB per second, up to 4TB of SSD storage capacity, the port contains four groups corresponding to THunderbolt 3 USB Type-C, as well as four USB 3.0, also includes SD memory card slot and network cable hole.

And to get rid of the heat generated by high-performance operation, the iMac Pro uses a dual-fan module with up to 80% thermal efficiency internally, allowing iMac Pro to work smoothly with 3D graphics and even creating virtual reality content.

On the Apple side, iMac Pro is not meant to replace Mac Pro, but offers more options for advanced users in the market.
