Regarding the OLED panel business that South Korean manufacturers are running ahead of, Sharp President Dai Zhengwu pointed out that "the alliance should be created, and discussions are held with Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Industrial Innovation Agency (INCJ)."
Regarding the possibility of making a contribution to JOLED, a Japanese OLED panel developer, Dai Zhengwu said he hopes to first probe Japan's policy intentions and decide after listening to the Japanese government's intention to develop the OLED panel industry.
