MediaTek, the world's second-largest maker of SoC solutions for smart phones, today announced a new partnership with Google under which MediaTek will officially support Android Oreo Go, a new product officially launched by Google this week , Specifically for a few affordable entry-level devices with less than 1GB of RAM.

MediaTek has partnered with Google to optimize some of its chips for Android Oreo Go to provide a high-quality Android experience for entry-level handsets, and now MediaTek MT6739, MT6737, MT6580 and other quad-core processors are compatible with Android Oreo Go system.
