Covestro announced that it will expand its thermoplastic polyurethane capacity in North America by 25% by lifting the bottleneck of the new Martinsville manufacturing facility in Victoria, US Additional capacity is expected to come online in the second quarter of 2018.
According to Covestro, TPU investment means the strategic importance of TPU in the overall investment of the company and said the additional capacity will enable Covestro to support customer growth and explore new markets as TPU's demand in North America and globally increases market.
