GENERICS, a Lebanese startup backed by the British government, launched crowdfunding on the Kickstarter platform for its 3D printing headphone solution. When walking or jogging listening to music, many people fall easily because of the small headphones they are wearing, so GENERICS has developed an advanced headphone solution to the problem of uncomfortable wearing and inappropriate headphones. Take a video of their inner contours and upload to the GENERICS app. GENERICS produces a pair of custom made headsets with regenerative software algorithms, 3D printers and advanced materials. Each pair is made of medical-grade soft silicone (the type used for hearing aids) and is injected into a 3D printing mold. The headphones have a small speaker. The traditional personalized earphone customization costs 500 US dollars (3300 yuan), wait two weeks, and GENERICS customer order within five days to complete the headset customization, the price is 75% of the current market price of entry. |
