According to the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference website on November 21, SK Advanced has closed down its propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit for overhaul.
South Korea's Polymerupdate informed sources have learned that SK Advanced has started downtime of the unit on November 20, 2017. The unit is expected to be suspended for about a month.
SK Advanced is a joint venture between South Korea's largest LPG supplier SK Gas and Saudi Aramco Petrochemicals (APC).
The PDH plant in Ulsan, South Korea, has a capacity of 600,000 tons / year of propylene.
