Hui and CEO Whitman will step down in 2018, replaced by Antonio Neri

According to MarketWatch, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced on Tuesday afternoon that Chief Executive Meg Whitman will step down in 2018, with Antonio Neri replacing him.

Whitman has been leading the company's predecessor, Hewlett-Packard, since 2011, leading the company's spin-off of consumer and business operations and other spin-offs and changes, with HP spin-offs for HP Inc. (HPQ) Inc. Neri joined the company in 1995 and has been in the Enterprise Group since 2015. He was named President of HPE in June of this year and Whitman will remain with HP and its director.
