The automotive industry is undergoing radical changes driven by digital innovations, from smart driverless cars to electronic systems that replace or augment traditional electromechanical systems. The need for new medium-speed and high-speed serial buses, such as CAN FD (5-10 Mb / s) and automotive Ethernet, complicating the situation with co-existence with LIN, FlexRay, MOST, and other automotive bus technologies. With this software, developed specifically for Series 5 Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSOs) Engineers provide the ideal solution for analyzing and debugging Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and multiple buses in all automotive subsystems.
"These solutions for the Series 5 Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSOs) will enable the next generation of automotive engineers to gain insight into complex systems, solve problems faster, and ensure that the project is on schedule." General Manager, Mid-Range Oscilloscope, Tektronix Brian Ice states, "Unlike other solutions limited to four lanes, the Series 5 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO) enables customers to capture and interact with more information simultaneously for faster and more efficient troubleshooting and debugging '
Tektronix 'latest automotive solutions for the Series 5 Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSOs) include:
• 5-SRAUTO protocol option package for full serial triggering and analysis of buses used in the automotive industry including CAN, CAN FD, LIN and FlexRay CAN FD supports non-ISO and ISO standard versions.
• The 5-CMAUTOEN Automotive Ethernet Solution supports automated conformance testing as required by the IEEE P802.3bw (100BASE-T1) and BroadR-Reach V3.2 specifications. This automated conformance test solution includes a Series 5 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope MSO) and performs Group 1 Electrical Measurement Conformance Testing for Physical Media Accessory (PMA) transmitters as defined by Automotive Ethernet OPEN Alliance Special Interest Group (SIG) standards.
Redefine the mid-range oscilloscope
The new features extend the range of applications supported by 5 Series Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes (MSOs) and provide a host of innovations that redefine the midrange oscilloscopes, including the industry's first FlexChannel ™ technology that supports 4, 6, or 8 simulations Channel and up to 64 digital channels, integrated protocol analysis and signal generator, a new 12-bit ADC signal acquisition system, a 15.6-inch capacitive touch display, and a highly intuitive user interface provide unprecedented flexibility for complex embedded systems and Unparalleled visibility.
