2019 Apple will be rear-facing iPhone 3D perception camera

Apple has integrated 3D-sensing technology for the iPhone X. Currently, however, only its TrueDepth front camera supports this feature, and now Apple will post the iPhone's rear-view 3D-enabled camera in 2019, according to the latest news from Bloomberg.

Reported that Apple is currently developing a rear-end 3D sensing system called 'time-of-flight', the hormone will calculate the laser reflected from the surrounding objects to create a three-dimensional image of the surrounding environment and the current TrueDepth system It projects 30,000 lasers onto the user's face and measures distortion to generate a precise 3D image for authentication.

The article also pointed out that TrueDepth depth camera will continue to be used for the future of the iPhone's front camera, enabling both front and rear 3D scanning capabilities. The former is mainly used for face recognition, and post-3D sensing technology will allow Apple to further explore AR applications .

Also worth mentioning is that, according to the recent Apple analyst Guo Mingfu prediction report, next year Apple released three new iPhone will integrate TrueDepth sensor.
