According to the agreement, Air Products Company and Shaanxi Future Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shaanxi Future Energy"), a subsidiary of Yankuang Group, planned to set up a joint venture holding a majority stake in Air Products Company to construct, manage and operate a set of empty Gasification and syngas purification systems to supply future energy plants in Shaanxi Province, which are expected to produce about 40,000 tons of oxygen per day to support the production of syngas with capacity of 2.5 million bph per hour. In conjunction with Air Products Under a long-term live gas supply contract signed, Shaanxi Future Energy will supply coal, steam and electricity and will receive syngas.
Air Products currently supplies 12,000 tons of oxygen a day for Shaanxi Future Energy's first-phase project in Yulin, together with Phase II of Shaanxi Future Energy's annual production of 4 million tons of liquid fuel and downstream chemicals, and its Yulin integrated production facility will be China One of the largest coal-to-liquids and chemical production facilities.
Both parties are working hard to finalize the terms of the agreement as soon as possible and the project as a whole is expected to be put into operation in 2021.
