DSM and Toyota Motorsport sign technical cooperation agreement

Royal DSM recently signed a 'one DSM' technical cooperation framework agreement with Toyota Motorsports, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation ("TMG").

The agreement covers all of DSM's business units that supply materials and technology to the automotive industry, including engineering plastics, Dyneema (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers) and 3D printing technologies including Somos light curing 3D printing technology and other technologies such as FFF .

One of the specialist areas of TMG, a high-performance automotive development, testing and manufacturing company offering a wide range of technical services and active in several racing areas, manufactures products using additive manufacturing (often referred to as 3D printing) for racing And external customer's products.

Under this non-exclusive agreement, DSM will be its preferred material and product provider TMG will use DSM's high-performance materials and products to develop and test new engineering solutions that may eventually be applied to the automotive industry. As a test user of the relevant project, DSM's products will be tested and evaluated.
