IT Home reports that Intel's new ARM chip will be a 10nm process with a 3.5 GHz frequency processor that consumes only 0.25 mW / Mhz with an equivalent 100 million transistors (twice the density of a Samsung processor).
Intel is also manufacturing 22nm FinFET ARM chips, claiming that their loss of battery life is 30% less than competing 28nm devices.
Intel will not sell the ARM chips themselves, but OEM manufacturers, Intel has always hoped to reach a cooperation with Apple, especially competing for business from rival Qualcomm.
