German solar inverter manufacturer KACO new energy orders in 2017 increased by 70%

Recently, the German solar inverters maker KACO New Energy said the total orders for the third quarter of 2017 amounted to 550MW. The total order book for 2017 is about 1.95GW, up nearly 70% from last year.

Strong orders are said to have been boosted by the business growth in the United States, the Caribbean and Mexico, and new markets into the Asia-Pacific region also contributed to growth.

Ralf Hofmann, CEO of KACO Renewables, said: "In recent years, KACO New Energy has been able to reduce its reliance on the German domestic market. Instead, we have been able to continue to grow in the United States, one of the largest photovoltaic power generation regions in the world. There we have successfully expanded our presence in the Caribbean and Mexico, with the company now looking to the Asia Pacific region and the company is already gaining a foothold in India and the company has just set up a sales outlet in Taiwan. After the foundation, we are about to step into the Japanese market. '

The head of Germany KACO New Energy Company pointed out that it is estimated that the total orders for 2017 will reach 2.5GW.
