According to Xinhua News Agency, the US International Trade Commission on October 31 on the import of photovoltaic cells and components to the US President Trump proposed trade remedy measures to limit the import of related products.
Earlier, the US International Trade Commission on September 22 made a ruling that a large number of cheap imported photovoltaic cells and components have caused serious damage to the US domestic industry.
This decision is based on Article 201 of the US Trade Act 1974, also known as '201 Survey' or 'Global Safeguard Survey'.
