In the month of August, household refrigerators produced 8.58 million units, up 17% year on year; room air conditioners produced 14.628 million units, up 19.1% year on year; household washing machines produced 630.4 million units, up 1.3% year on year.

From January to August in 2017, the sales rate of home appliance industry was 95.7%, up by 0.4% over the same period of last year. The total export value was 278.43 billion yuan, up 12.7% year on year.
