Mentor Announces the 27th Annual PCB Technology Leadership Award Winner

Mentor, a Siemens business today announced the winners of the 27th Annual Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Technology Leadership Award, which began in 1988 and has become the longest in the electronics design automation (EDA) industry The contest has won a number of awards to recognize engineers and designers who use innovative methods and design tools to solve today's complex PCB design challenges and create industry-leading products.

A review of entries from all over the world involves the following categories of industry: • Computers, blades and servers, storage systems • Industrial control, instrumentation, safety and medical • Military and aerospace • Telecommunications, Network controller, line card • transport and car

Any designs that use the Mentor® PCB solution can participate in the PCB Technology Leadership Contest, which is reviewed based on design complexity and overcoming issues such as small package technology, high speed protocols, multi-disciplinary teamwork, advanced PCB manufacturing processes, and design Cycle time and so on.
